Shazam
I have posted in a while and i'm sure due. I bought a Super 8mm camera the other day during my quest to find myself a hammock (which is a whole other story). But this new (in ownership terms) camera may become the thing that spurns the realization of my dream to become a filmaker. Thing is i've run through millions of ideas for things (never writing them down of course) but what's held me back is the fact that i've never owned a camera. It's just something our family never got into (we had one when I was younger but it broke... hopefully it wasn'tme) so whenever I would go over to friends house and get to mess around with the camera it was a treat. But now it my time to shione. Coincidently I had talked to Dana (Emily's older sister) and she has experience in writing grants and she said movie ones are really easy to write. Especially for equipment. Which is a bonus as the film I plan to use (Kodachrome, which is btw going out of style according to Kodak) costs a pretty penny. I the end my real goals for the whole filmaking thing is the hope that with a camera I can travel around for as free as possible, through grants or people I meet (I don't know how this end of the plan works out other than in the tiny perfect world inside my head).
Still looking for a hammock and I think i'm going to make it myself. I went around Hawthorne and Belmont and I could never find anything cheaper than 60 bucks. A lot of the import shops kept thrying to hawk me a variety of natrual made ones that would cost more that 100 bcuks... so question is how does one go about making a hammock? I don't know. All I I know is I have a plan that you can see below and I intend making it a reality.
