A coldplay day in hell
Hey loyal readers. I'm back for another round of of gossip about my own life.
I'm sure you're eagerly anticipating of the culminating chapter of the crazy Portland story but alas i'm a wee bit sick of telling the story right now so i'm going to take a break. But have no fear i'm positive that in the boredom i'm sure to face to tonight i'll finish recording my opus. In fact i've told the story enough that it's become a refined piece of folk history so my delivery will most definitely come out totally kick a. Or at least much better than the first part. Man i'm rambling...
Emily's party was one crazy shin dig. The party picked up (for me at least) when the music started playing. Before that it was the whole stand in the corner and make polite chit chat with people, so any other thing has to be an improvement. It's too bad people have to drink away their inhibitions to dance, it's just so fun to cut loose. The party was pretty huge, Joe counted some 50 people in 2 rooms, luckily people discovered the balcony which lead to some prized space for my big birthing hips.
Noah finally made it back from his trek to Eugene. He got left there by Marcus and Dane on Friday, he seemed to have enjoyed it for the most part. Which is very mint.
Just got done reading an article in Blender about the woes of Coldplay and the numerous reasons on the delays of the new albums. Personally I don't care but the article definitely pumped me up for the release of the new album. I downloaded a couple of live tracks they performed and they sound pretty much like Coldplay and definitely will sound a whole lot better coming off the actual album. They do have their lead single out, "Speed of Sound", which you of course can download from here as today's song of the day.
Went to the Saturday market. You know those record bowls that I was making last year? This lady is painting them and trying to sell them for 50 bucks! First of all good job to the lady of doing something I dreamed of... but come on... those records cost you a good 10 cents at most. Most of the time you can go to a garage sale and they'll give you records. Anyways this really makes me want to go and undercut her, sell the bowls for maybe 5 to 10 bucks. That is the thing about the Saturday Market, art is hard, art is life, art is overpriced. But i guess if you make a few sales you're in the black making all that sitting worth it. Another thing I hate is that they make so much of one thing making me feel that whatever I buy like one of many. Now I know individuals don't have the sheer production capacity of major corporations, but still... make me feel special. I saw a guy who makes his own long boards and sells them. Which is easily the most original booth i've seen in a while. In fact I talked to him and from what I understand eh puts on Randall trucks on them which is something i've heard Dane mention, making this guy somewhat legit. I'll have the terrible twosome check him out before buying my board from him.
Not much else to report, except i'm dirt poor and I want my check from THPRD. Throw me a line today as I live a life of boredom, we'll talk no big whoop. Also big ups to my first international visitor, from Saudi Arabia, we're taking over worldwide baby and there is nothing you can do to stop us!

I taked to that longboard guy a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I'm going get a custom-handled one form him once I get some extra money(never), but yeah, let's have marcus+Dane take a look before jumping to conclusions on our mat.
